Terms of service
Terms and conditions
Last updated: October 15, 2026
1. Scope and contracting party
These terms and conditions apply to orders placed by consumers through the Glowbrella online store.
The contracting party and seller is:
Interecomer, trading as Glowbrella
Zürcherstrasse 35
8174 Stadel
Switzerland
Email: glowbrella@outlook.com
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction predominantly for private purposes.
Different or additional agreements apply only if expressly agreed between you and us. Mandatory statutory consumer rights always remain unaffected.
In the following, “we” and “us” refer to the seller named above, trading under the business name Glowbrella.
2. Provision of the online store
Our online store is technically provided by Shopify. Shopify supports the store's technical operation, but is not the seller and does not become a party to purchase contracts concluded through Glowbrella.
The purchase contract is concluded exclusively between you and the seller identified in section 1.
3. Product presentation and conclusion of the contract
The presentation of our products in the online store does not constitute a legally binding offer, but an invitation to place an order.
You can add products to your cart and review and correct your details before submitting your order.
By clicking the final order button, you make a binding offer to purchase the products in your cart.
An automatically sent order confirmation initially confirms only receipt of your order. It does not constitute acceptance unless the confirmation expressly states otherwise.
The contract is concluded as soon as we:
- expressly accept your order,
- dispatch the goods,
- send a shipping confirmation, or
- finally collect payment.
The event that occurs first is decisive.
We may reject an order before the contract is concluded, particularly if:
- the product is unavailable,
- payment cannot be authorized,
- there is an obvious pricing or product error,
- there are specific indications of fraud or abuse,
- unusually large quantities are ordered for commercial resale,
- delivery to the specified address is not possible.
If an order is rejected, payments already received will be refunded promptly through the original payment method.
4. Contract text and contract language
The language of this storefront and these terms is English. Any other contract language offered for an order will be identified before that order is placed.
The order details and these terms and conditions will be provided to you in a form that can be saved. Order information will also be sent by email with the order confirmation.
You can correct input errors before submitting your order using the functions provided during the ordering process.
5. Prices, shipping costs and import duties
The prices displayed to consumers in the online store are final prices. Applicable taxes are taken into account in accordance with statutory requirements.
Additional shipping costs are clearly displayed before you submit a binding order.
Cross-border deliveries may incur customs duties, import VAT or similar charges. If these costs are not already included in the selling price or checkout, you will be informed accordingly before placing your order.
Additional costs about which you were not properly informed before the contract was concluded will not be imposed on you solely on the basis of these terms.
Price changes apply only to future orders. The price displayed and confirmed when you place your order remains binding for the concluded contract.
6. Payment
The available payment methods are displayed during checkout.
Unless otherwise stated for the selected payment method, payment is due immediately upon conclusion of the contract.
Payments may be processed through external payment service providers. The terms of the relevant payment service provider may additionally apply to the use of those services.
You must provide complete and accurate payment and billing information and use only payment methods you are authorized to use.
7. Delivery and delivery times
Delivery is made to the address provided at checkout. Available destinations, shipping charges and delivery estimates are set out in our Shipping Policy and the information displayed for your order before purchase.
Order processing takes 1–3 business days. After dispatch, estimated transit time is up to 9 business days. The total estimated time from order to delivery is therefore up to 12 business days.
We will inform you of material delays and provide the cancellation and refund options required by applicable law. An updated estimate does not automatically remove your rights or replace a binding delivery commitment without any consent required by law.
Partial deliveries are permitted only if reasonable for you and without additional shipping costs.
8. Transfer of risk and damage in transit
For consumer orders, the risk of loss of or damage to the goods generally passes to you only when you or a third party designated by you, other than the carrier, has received the goods.
An exception applies if you have independently engaged a carrier that was not offered by us.
Please document visible transport damage as promptly as possible and notify us at glowbrella@outlook.com. Failure to provide such notice does not restrict your statutory rights.
Purchasing optional shipping protection is not a condition for exercising statutory rights concerning non-delivery, loss, damage or defective goods. Any optional add-on is separate from those rights.
9. Retention of title
The goods supplied remain our property until the purchase price has been paid in full, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
10. Right of withdrawal and voluntary returns
Consumers may have statutory rights of withdrawal. Information on the conditions, deadlines, return shipping costs and exercise of the right of withdrawal can be found in our withdrawal notice:
Returns, refunds and withdrawal rights
We additionally offer a voluntary 60-day return period in accordance with our separate returns and refund policy:
Returns, refunds and withdrawal rights
Conditions such as original packaging, complete accessories and unused condition apply only under the voluntary return policy where stated. They do not restrict the statutory right of withdrawal or statutory rights concerning defects.
11. Statutory rights concerning defects
Defective or non-conforming goods are subject to the mandatory statutory rights concerning defects under the applicable law.
Depending on the applicable law, you may in particular be entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction or termination of the contract.
Your statutory rights exist independently of our voluntary return policy and may not be made conditional on the original packaging still being available.
An additional manufacturer's warranty or voluntary guarantee exists only if expressly promised on the product page or in a separate guarantee statement. A voluntary guarantee does not restrict your statutory rights concerning defects.
12. Product characteristics and images
We aim to depict products, colors, materials, dimensions and characteristics as accurately as possible.
Minor color variations may occur due to different screen settings. Such technically caused, insignificant variations do not constitute a defect provided that the goods continue to meet the agreed specifications and reasonable expectations.
Before ordering, please review the specifications, dimensions and any sizing information given on the relevant product page.
The product description, expressly promised characteristics and information displayed in the online store at the time of your order are binding.
Product descriptions or prices may change for future orders. Contracts already concluded remain unaffected.
13. Intended and safe use
Use products only for their intended purpose and follow the manufacturer’s product-specific instructions, warnings and care guidance. Do not continue using a product if damage could make it unsafe. Contact glowbrella@outlook.com for assistance.
These instructions do not restrict statutory rights concerning defects or our liability for defective or unsafe products.
14. Customer account
If you are able to create a customer account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and informing us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
You must provide complete, current and accurate information when registering and placing orders.
We may suspend accounts if there are specific indications of fraud, abuse, unlawful use or substantial breaches of these terms. Statutory claims that have already arisen remain unaffected.
15. Prohibited use
The website must not be used for unlawful purposes, fraud, deception, distribution of malware, infringement of third-party rights or interference with the online store's technical security.
Automated access, scraping or other technical queries may be prohibited or restricted if they impair operation, security or our legitimate interests.
Uses permitted by law, particularly mandatory rights of access to information, remain unaffected.
16. Copyright and trademarks
The online store content created by us, particularly text, graphics, logos, product representations, videos and design elements, is protected under applicable law.
Third-party content and trademarks remain the property of their respective rights holders.
Reproduction, adaptation or commercial use of our protected content beyond private use is not permitted without prior consent, unless permitted by law.
17. Reviews and other customer content
If you voluntarily publish a review, photo, video or other content, you confirm that you hold the necessary rights and do not infringe any third-party rights.
We may display reviews submitted for publication in connection with the relevant product or store. We will obtain any consent or permission required for other uses, such as advertising. We will not change a review in a way that distorts its meaning.
If separate consent is required for a particular use, we will obtain it before that use.
Reviews may be moderated or removed if they are demonstrably fake, unlawful, offensive, discriminatory, misleading, irrelevant or infringe rights.
Benefits or incentives granted for a review must be transparently disclosed.
Rights of erasure and objection under data protection law remain unaffected.
18. External links and third-party services
The online store may contain links, payment services or technical functions from external providers.
We are responsible for our own content and for the proper selection of the service providers we use, in accordance with statutory provisions.
The respective provider is liable under statutory provisions for its independent content over which we have no influence. As soon as we become aware of unlawful content, we will take appropriate measures.
19. Liability
Our liability is unlimited:
- in cases of intent and gross negligence,
- for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health,
- in cases of fraudulent concealment of a defect,
- where we have given an express guarantee, within the scope of that guarantee,
- under mandatory product liability provisions,
- in all other cases where a limitation of liability is prohibited by law.
In the event of a slightly negligent breach of an essential contractual obligation, liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical of the contract. Essential contractual obligations are obligations whose fulfillment makes proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose observance you may regularly rely.
Otherwise, liability for damage caused by slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by applicable law.
This liability provision also applies for the benefit of our legal representatives, employees and agents involved in performing our obligations.
Statutory rights concerning defects, rights of withdrawal and mandatory consumer rights are not restricted by this provision.
20. Extraordinary events
We are not liable for delays caused exclusively by extraordinary, unforeseeable events that could not have been avoided despite reasonable measures, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
These may include natural events, government measures, major disruptions to transport routes, labor disputes, war, cyberattacks or widespread failures of communications or energy supplies.
We will inform you of significant effects and take reasonable measures to resume performance as soon as possible.
Your statutory rights in the event of a significant delay or permanent impossibility of delivery remain in place.
21. Data protection
Information on the processing of personal data can be found in our privacy policy:
Shopify and the payment, analytics or shipping service providers used may process personal data according to their respective functions. Details of recipients, processing purposes, legal bases and possible international data transfers are explained in the privacy policy.
22. Changes to these terms
Changes to these terms and conditions generally apply only to future orders.
For purchase contracts already concluded, the version incorporated at the time the contract was concluded applies, unless a later change has been expressly and validly agreed.
23. Applicable law
The substantive law of Switzerland applies, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
For consumers, this choice of law applies only to the extent that it does not deprive them of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the country in which they have their habitual residence.
24. Jurisdiction
The statutory rules of jurisdiction apply to consumers. Your right to bring a claim before the court provided for by law is not restricted by these terms.
For merchants and other customers acting in a commercial capacity, Zurich, Switzerland is agreed as the exclusive place of jurisdiction to the extent permitted by law.
25. Severability
If an individual provision of these terms and conditions is wholly or partly invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
The relevant statutory provisions apply in place of the invalid provision. An invalid clause is not automatically replaced by a provision that is less favorable to you.
